This site promotes our race winning training services and facilities, and provides an information service to our owners. As well as details about our Hydro-Treadmill which is a combination of a treadmill, whirlpool, and swimming pool. It is designed to aid all types of horses therapeutic healing, strengthening, conditioning, and training that is now available for hire.

Ideal Belle returns in style

It was almost like she had never been away.

And pretty soon some of Ideal Belle’s rivals are probably going to wish she had stayed away.

The NZ Oaks winner returned from a career-threatening injury with the perfect win at Alexandra Park tonight.

Great start for Abernethy satellite stable

A horse that has been Jay Abernethy’s galloping pacemaker since April has provided the Papakura trainer with his first two winners from his new Manawatu stable.

Abernethy, thanks to Kenny Tarrant, only set up his Palmerston North stable last Wednesday (October 21st). A day later Aceman won on the first day of the Manawatu meeting and then three days later backed that up with another victory on the second day.

“He went from a C1 pacer to C4 in a matter of 10 days,” said Abernethy after the 7-year-old gelding’s third straight win, and fourth in 27 starts.... read the full story
